SOMT050204-DP is a carbide drill insert designed for U drills and indexable drilling applications. The DP geometry features a unique economical 4-corner design, providing stable drilling performance, efficient chip evacuation and extended tool life.

With an inscribed circle diameter of 4.90 mm, insert thickness of 2.38 mm and corner radius of 0.4 mm, it is suitable for drilling steel, stainless steel, cast iron and superalloy materials.
